This is the UK High Potential Individual (HPI) visa list, which provides a “no job offer” route for graduates from selected non-UK universities. The official 2025 Global Universities List comprises 80 institutions. This visa is applicable for degrees awarded between 1 November 2025 and 31 October 2026. The list was last updated on 4 November 2025.
Important: You must use the list for the year your degree was awarded, not today’s list. UK universities are not eligible (use the Graduate visa instead). No Indian or other South Asian universities are on this list. There is an annual cap of 8,000 HPI applications.

Also required to apply: degree awarded in the last 5 years; Ecctis confirmation that it equals a UK bachelor’s, master’s or PhD; English at B2; maintenance funds (unless you have already been in the UK on a valid visa for 12 months). You can only use the HPI route once, and not if you have already had a Graduate visa. Check the GOV.UK list for your award year before applying.
